Who could use a leg up more than Puppy Stairs handsome new model Porterhouse.  Built sturdy and low to the ground, Porterhouse found jumping up on the bed taxing if not impossible so he took very naturally to our large dog ramps and used the occasion to find his way effortlessly to lounge on our nice comfy feather bed by bypassing the platform where he was scheduled to strike a handsome pose.  His ear to ear smile seemed to say, “well, this modeling business is pretty fun after all.”

Our four Yorkies, Zeus, Zena, Isis and Raphael have been our models up to now: Isis and Raphael were our original models, then Zeus joined them the fourth year and last came our precious little 4 pound Zena, the baby of Isis and Zeus.  They were all very curious about this large creature and were reluctant to include him at first.  They joined Porterhouse on the featherbed at last but they did take a little while to say welcome.  

Porterhouse weighs 70 pounds so even though he is built very sturdy that is a lot of weight for his bones and joints when jumping down to any firm surface. Puppy Stairs are not only therapeutic when giving safe passage to and from high surfaces for pets but the high-density foam protects joints if a pet should jump from the bed to the middle of one of our dog foam ramps.
